As World Book Day comes round again on the 5th March, we got thinking at Creative Hub about our favourite children’s book, suggestions like the Hungry Caterpillar, In the Night Garden, Mr Men and many more came to mind.
What is yours and your child’s favourite book?
Books are a fantastic way to inspire the imagination of a child. Ask your child questions about the books they read or the ones you read together. What are their favourite bits of the story? How do they imagine the characters to look and act? How would they change the ending or the beginning? It is always great to hear their fantastic and imaginative – though be it sometimes totally obsurd- responses.
